FAQ: DTF Printing, Care, Shipping and Sizing

Everything you need to know about how your order is made, how to care for it, and what to expect.

How are your designs printed?

Every design is printed with DTF (direct-to-film) and heat pressed onto the garment. We print your design in full color onto a special film, then press it into the fabric with heat. It is a heat-pressed transfer, not embroidery, not a sewn patch and not traditional screen printing.

Is it screen printed or embroidered?

No. It is DTF: a full-color film transfer applied with a heat press. That is what lets us print detailed, multi-color artwork on small runs, and the print has a smooth, slightly raised finish you can feel with your hand.

Will the print crack or peel?

DTF transfers are made to hold up to regular wear and washing when cared for properly. Turn the garment inside out, wash cold, and avoid high heat and bleach. If a print fails within 30 days, contact us and we will make it right.

How do I wash and care for it?

Turn it inside out. Wash cold with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang dry. No bleach, no fabric softener, no dry cleaning, and never iron directly on the print (press the inside of the garment or use a cloth). Hats: spot clean by hand, do not machine wash.

Does the print feel thick or plastic-y?

DTF sits on top of the fabric as a thin, flexible layer. You will feel it, but it is soft and moves with the garment. Larger prints feel a little more like a patch than a dyed-in print, which is normal for a heat-pressed transfer.

Where are the garments printed and how long does it take?

Printed to order in the USA by a small business. Orders are printed and shipped in 3 to 5 business days, then take standard carrier time. Shipping within the US is free, and faster options are shown at checkout.

How do I choose a size?

Use the size guide on any product page, or see the full size chart at /pages/size-chart. All measurements come from the manufacturers' spec sheets and are laid flat.

Are the brand-inspired designs official merchandise?

No. They are original parody and fan-inspired designs. They are not licensed by, affiliated with or endorsed by the brands they are inspired by.
